Artist statement

ARTIST STATEMENT
For those interested in learning more about art history, this is the way to do it. It may
also lead to fascinating employment prospects, the most notable of which being, at
least in my opinion, becoming a fine art auctioneer. It’s one of the most intriguing and
interesting things to deal with because of the variety of ways it may be expressed.
Using a single still photograph or sculpture, or simply a blank canvas, you may delve
into the beliefs and histories of people all over the globe.
A professional writer with a lot of energy, drive, and ambition, I work hard to achieve
my goals. Writing great content is a passion of mine that is fueled by a combination of
educational and professional experiences. I’ve had some success with essay and article
writing. I have seven years of creative writing expertise, so I can provide high-quality
articles on time and with excellent communication skills.
There are no compromises in art; it is sarcastic and beautiful in its exploration of the
world and humanity’s past. One of the primary reasons I want to major in Art History
is because art is more than just a means of aesthetic enjoyment; it also serves as a
record of our cultural heritage across time.
At school, I was fascinated by the topic and had excellent scores in History, Art and
Literature. “Les Ames des Arts et de la Culture” in Monaco offered weekly cultural
seminars for me to attend, and my interest for the topic spilled over into my social
life. I opted not to attend university after finishing my Baccalaureate because of
personal concerns, but my passion for art remained unaffected. When I had some free
time, I became fascinated with photography. As a 13-year-old, my grandfather taught
me how to develop photos, and I was immediately drawn to Cartier Brenton’s fusion
of art and knowledge. Being able to disconnect from the outside world and experience
something other than being a spectator was also a pleasant change after a long day at
work.
At the height of my working career in 2005, I had the good fortune to contribute to
research and writing for the exhibition’s Press Book, entitled “Dali a Monte-Carlo.”
Compiling and summarizing the exhibition’s material was a time-consuming and
difficult undertaking. To learn more about the artist, I delved through the publicly
available photos shot during his fall stay in Monaco and made available to the public.
Working as assistant for the last two weeks has given me the opportunity to broaden
my creative horizons, and I am grateful for the experience.
In my own time, I like listening to a wide range of music, from blues to folk to rock
and jazz. My work experience has allowed me to participate in a number of radio and
music magazine initiatives, culminating in an interview with Frank Black over a cup
of tea after a Pixies performance in Six-Fours. The mix of excitement and spectacle
with the music that creates ‘the show’ fascinates me, and I try to go to concerts as
frequently as possible. I’m also a big fan of travelling, and just completed a trip to
South America. First-hand experience with diverse cultures helped me learn the
language throughout my travels.
All things considered, I’d want to devote more time and energy to the study of
painting and convert it into a vocation. Eventually, I want to be a Fine Art expert in an
auction house. In order to achieve academic success as an older student, my personal
and professional experiences have given me a rich cultural base.
So much remains to be learned and discovered, and an undergraduate course in the
History of Art provides me with a great chance to do so.
