Propaganda is used on purpose in many of the civilizations that exist in
the modern world to convince the people who are dominated of the
validity of the system that they live under. In addition, they often
exercise control over and regulate the mass media in their own nations in
order to guarantee that there is no dissent to the controlled socialization.
The use of this sort of force may also be performed with a lower degree
of intention. Consider the disparity that exists in our society between
men and women using this as an example.
In what ways does the representation of women that is prevalent in
advertising contribute to the normalization of unequal treatment? Even
though the purpose of advertising is to sell a variety of products, such as
lingerie and perfume, household goods, alcohol, cigarettes, cars, and
office equipment, the images of women that are used in advertising are
