Reports to:
Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer and the Chief of Pharmacy Operations
General Statement of Job:
Under general supervision, this position supports *COMPANY NAME*’s mission, vision, culture, and quality

Essential Job Functions:
Employees are expected to be on time, ready to work and deal with co-workers and customers in a courteous,
professional manner. An excellent attendance record and reliability is a must. Employees must follow all policies
and procedures, maintain satisfactory performance, and demonstrate competency in all trained areas. Cross
training, change of job functions and/or location may be required.

Oversee all technologies (Local Network, Wide Area Network, Firewall, Server environment (Hardware,
Software))
IT Security
Establish/Maintain IT policies and systems
Purchase efficient and cost effective Hardware/Software
Create/Control Budget
Inspect the use of Hardware/Software to ensure functionality
Implementing new Systems
Identify the needs for upgrades, new systems
Complete System installs/upgrades
Oversee Data Storage and Retrieval Systems
Provide technical support/training for end-users hardware and software issues
Monitor systems (Servers, Network, Data/Network Security, Backups)
Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols. Comply with all current
government regulations and professional standards respecting patient care
Act as liaison between staff / management and IT / IS vendors/VARS when problems arise, when
procuring hardware/software/services, or when the need arises to meet or exceed management
expectations. Maintain existing or build new relationships with third party IT / IS vendors / VARS to
meet or exceed the need of the company as directed by the CEO
Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours in accordance with company policy.
Assist with implementation of quality improvement program to meet company, HIPPA, and
accreditation standards.

Other Requirements:
• Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
• Minimum age requirement is 18
• Meet all work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies
• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
• Adhere to all Federal, State and Local regulations as they pertain to the Pharmacy operation
• Complete all applicable department training programs
• Comply with all laws applicable to practice skills
• Must exhibit the utmost professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with patients and their health
information
• Demonstrate understanding of routes of administration
• Courteously assist all internal and external customers and co-workers
• Entry-Level familiarity with basic computer software programs (email, word processing, etc.)
• General office skills (calculator, typing/computer keyboard, copier, filing, Fax and phone)
• Detail oriented and the ability to follow-up
• Able to handle stressful situations for short periods of time, sit and/or stand for long periods of time,
communicate clearly and accurately with co-workers and customers
• Ability to work in varying temperatures
• Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of dust and chemical agents during routine housekeeping duties
• Neat personal grooming and appearance with pleasing manner and interpersonal skills
• Perform multiple tasks effectively
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Timely completion of assigned work requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
