Menopause in men edited
What if men went through menopause?
Menopause refers to a period that marks the end of a female’s reproductive years, that is, the
menstrual cycle, including the changes that occur just before or after a woman had her period, which
marks the end of a woman’s reproductive years. It can be diagnosed after one year without menstrual
period. Menopause can be justified in subordinate groups in the following ways; beliefs and
expectations regarding menopause and aging socially women who are in their menopause stage are
known as old and retired this is because the immunosenescence concept in their system by then
indicates cellular and serological immune response that generates a specific response to foreign
antigens which may be related with infectious and chronic diseases which are associated with the old
age especially in societies that old age is linked with bothers since the symptoms can also be more
shattering. Another one is women tend to be more sensitive to specific symptoms such as fearfulness,
muscle tension and hot flushes, which tend to make them uncomfortable and stressing. The third impact
is the role and status of women in a particular society; due to variation in the experience of menopause,
it links the social class to the extent of male domination. A given class of independence and liberation
allows females an identity above their reproductive function and status undamaged by menopause.
Finally, there is an aspect of Biology and behavioural change where most male class vaginal pain during
intercourse and mood swings are significant problems. In contrast, women regarded weight gain as
more critical.
The following ways are how menopause would become appropriated as a source of pride of the social
position if men as a dominant group would experience it; if men were to experience menopause and
since it is associated with old age, then it would have come with pride and a title since society believe
that older men are wise. Also, suppose men were to undergo menopause which is somehow related to
change of behaviour and hormones, then the inability to perform some duties such as bearing of
children and discomfort while doing some things like maybe sexual intercourse due to pain or low
interest would be of great pride as it would have been linked with maturity. This is because it is
commonly believed that maturity is related to old age, which is also related to menopause.
