Right Handed Vs. Left-Handed People
Right-handed people are considered to be smarter in reasoning than left-handed
individuals. I compared the mathematics achievement of over 2,300 right- and left-handed
students in Italy between 6 and 17. As parts of a study published in the journal Frontiers in 2017,
researchers discovered that when left-handed students used a mathematical function to analyze a
collection of data, they outperformed their right-handed counterparts. The corpus callosum,
which is the bundle of nerve fibers that connects the left and right hemispheres of the brain, has
been found to be substantially larger in left-handed people, according to recent research
(Bartholomew). Given the intimate relationship between the left and right hemispheres of the
brain, it is reasonable to assume that left-handed people have superior spatial abilities when it
comes to mathematics. Further investigation, however, is required to validate this. With regard to
handedness, it is crucial to remember that left-handedness in particular can be useful or
detrimental depending on the underlying etiology of the condition in question.
When it comes to left-handedness, those who have dominant right hemispheres may be
more inclined than those who have dominant left hemispheres. This is referred to as
“pathological left-handedness” in the study, and it can result in learning difficulties. In other
words, being a lefty can occasionally result in learning difficulties (Ratini).
In brief, the idea that right-handed people are more clever than left-handed persons has
yet to be definitively proven, so this may not be true. Some studies demonstrate that righties have

a slight advantage over lefties in IQ. In our language, we have a bias against people who use
their left hand instead of their right.
