TOPIC: EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN (ERP) AWARENESS
LOCATION: Applicable to all Worksite
Introduction: Emergencies can create a variety of hazards for workers in the impacted area.
Preparing before an emergency incident plays a vital role in ensuring that employers and workers
have the necessary equipment, know where to go, and know how to keep themselves safe when an
emergency occurs. These Emergency Preparedness and Response will familiarize the
crews/personnel working at site on how to immediately respond to emergency cases that may save
each and everyone’s life.
What to do it times of emergency:
Upon Hearing the Alarm;

Remain calm
Stop all work immediately
Shut down or turn off the equipment/power tools immediately
Notify your co-workers about the alarm
Check WIND DIRECTION (Crosswind).
Evacuate quickly and immediately proceed to Assembly point
Inform focal point/line supervisor of your presence
Ride in the bus and put on your seat belt.
Listen carefully to your FOCAL POINT/Line Supervisor and follow his Instruction
attentively.
Reporting the Alarm:

Report injuries, if any.
Give your name / Badge number / I’D Number.
Repeat the above information
stay on THE LINE UNTIL FURTHER INSTRUCTION.
Do not return to work until further notice of the Corresponding Authorities or your line
Supervisor.
