Week 6
Good leaders have high integrity, self-awareness, empathy, good communication abilities,
and a strong impact. Even in high-stress situations, such a leader maintains a cool head. The
capacity to inspire and encourage one’s team in many ways is also an important quality of a strong
leader (Kotagal & Pellegrini, 2018). In addition, individuals who are good leaders have unique
characteristics, such as the capacity to manage any kind of stress and the bravery to take the
initiative.
Transformative leaders have the ability to collaborate with their teams by recognizing and
addressing their employees’ goals and needs as a team. Organizations need this kind of leadership
approach to succeed. A transformative leader must have a compelling vision that inspires and
motivates their team to achieve its goals. (Pearson, 2020). In addition, they are in charge of
ensuring that the vision is communicated across the company. In addition, transformational leaders
develop a strong trust-based connection with their subordinates. While leading people, I’m aware
that they see me as someone open-minded, goal-oriented, and willing to do whatever it takes to
get the job done. Other subordinates have been encouraged by my example and are now selfsufficient in the many tasks they carry out both within and outside the organization. To be a
valuable member of the team, I place a higher value on the accomplishments of my colleagues
than on my own.
The aspect of the TEACH values which I think would most benefit my work environment
if adopted is teamwork and accountability. My workplace relies heavily on teamwork since it
increases our varied activities and work’s overall efficacy and efficiency. Accountability also
encourages employees to take their jobs seriously since they know that they will be held

responsible for anything that occurs in the workplace. Taking responsibility for one’s actions as a
nurse is the proper thing to do, but it also helps the nurse develop as a professional and as a person.
