I would like to comment on article “Young people in u a multifaceted society”, to give detail
on how I see my own generation and ultimately what I think are the greatest challenges my
generation has to face.
Firstly, I think that it is significant that my generation is constantly developing, and young
people have a lot of innovative ideas that eventually can give a progress to the whole society.
I see my own generation as a modern, motivated individuals who is willing to refresh our
society with new technologies, creative ideas, as well as individuals who are determined to
learn and gain knowledge from the older generation. I’m of the opinion, that my generation is
continuously evolving, as we are born in a technological era, where we create new trends to
simplify our lives. The gigantic amount of information young people receive daily, influences
our self-development in many ways, in addition we have various amounts of sources and are
able to distinguish between fake and real. From my perspective I see that my generation tries
to listen to our parents, as they have a tremendous experience of life.
On the other hand, my generation lacks self-discipline and taking own responsibility.
Furthermore, we are dependent on social media which results in miscommunication in real
life.
I suppose the greatest challenges my generation has to face are wars, social inequality,
environmental disasters, competition between individuals, overpopulation. Ultimately, it
seems to me that we must be more united as a community, as well more caring about each
other in order to reduce the severity of future challenges.
